Innovative Facility Care (IFC) is looking for reliable, hardworking Building Cleaners to join our team. Building Cleaners are an essential part of our operations and play a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for our clients.

• Perform nightly cleaning and janitorial duties in commercial and retail facilities.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, staff areas, food preparation areas, and common spaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and properly.
• Complete assigned tasks according to IFC procedures and client expectations.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and work areas.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or client concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies.
• Work as part of a team while also completing tasks independently.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Able to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks.

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset, but training is provided for the right candidate.

Innovative Facility Care (IFC) is looking for a skilled, reliable, and motivated Stripping & Waxing Specialist to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining, restoring, and improving commercial flooring to a high standard.

• Perform floor stripping, waxing, refinishing, and restoration.
• Prepare floors through cleaning, scrubbing, edging, and removal of existing finishes.
• Apply floor finishes and maintain consistent, professional results.
• Operate, transport, and properly care for floor-care equipment.
• Drive company trucks and trailers to transport equipment and supplies.
• Travel throughout Nova Scotia, including long-distance travel to various commercial and retail locations.
• Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow IFC procedures, safety standards, and client requirements.

• Previous experience with commercial floor care, stripping, and waxing is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
• Ability and willingness to safely operate a truck and trailer for equipment transportation.
• Willingness and ability to travel long distances throughout the province.
• Comfortable working evenings, nights, weekends, and varying schedules when required.
• Physically capable of performing the duties associated with floor-care work.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
